Amanda Salas has spent so much time covering red carpets and other stories around Hollywood that she’s earned the nickname “Latina on the Scene-a”.
Growing up in New York City and Las Vegas, Amanda was exposed to bright lights and entertainment at an early age so she knew she was destined to work in Hollywood.
Amanda is the go-to girl when celebrities get their stars on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. She’s interviewed countless Hollywood A-listers from Matthew McConaughey to Ryan Seacrest to Eva Longoria.
Besides being on Hollywood Today LIVE, Amanda’s a car enthusiast and is the host of Time Warner Cable’s Automotive on Demand that is available in over 11 million homes. Amanda has also been seen on Dish Nation, SPEED, The Food Network, and has been chosen as an on-camera Spokesperson for Las Vegas and Marina Del Rey’s visitor’s authority. She’s devoted to her family and says her hero and best friend is her grandmother, aka “Meema.” Amanda is often the cast member to come up with the one-liners and loves being ‘punny’.
She’s involved with Variety – The Children’s Charity and volunteering at several animal shelters across Southern California.
