Heavy rains triggered a landslide along the route to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Reasi on August 27, 2025. The impact was tragic: 30–31 people lost their lives, dozens were injured, and many are feared trapped under the debris. Authorities immediately suspended the pilgrimage and launched rescue operations. Train services and road access were also disrupted. Pilgrims have been advised to remain cautious and follow official instructions.

The recall was issued due to a potential fuel leak risk during refueling, which could cause spillage onto hot components and spark a fire. At least four fire incidents have already been reported, some linked to faulty fuel pumps. Dealers will install protective shields to reduce the risk of fuel spillage.
